My mother is suffering from acute depression as well as nerve problems. How can i help

My mother due to the falling out between my sister and brother as well as other family problems which she at times is reluctant even to discuss with me, is suffering from serious depression. Even though I have taken her to various psychiatrists, psychologists and even nerves specialists, non seem to be improving her situation. She sinks further into depression when the medicines taken for depression affect her nerves problem. She is now incapable of even being by herself while the rest of the household sleeps. She has also become increasingly obsessive about household chores. She is very afraid for loved one's safety and of simple tasks such as going to a bank etc.I would like to know how I can help her at home, as well as if there know if there is any other medical solution i can seek.

If your current medical and psychological professionals aren't getting it done, try new ones and maybe new meds.

Depression is very dangerous!

Nerve problem means quite often depressed! There is nothing to worry about her health condition! She often thinking about the surrounding as a negative!

I suffer from chronic depression with bouts of major depression. Do try to find her a doctor that will be able to help her. Invite her most trusted friends over to not talk her out of depression but just for a visit. Make sure you take care of yourself since it will take a huge toll on you. Does her psychiatrists know about her nerve condition? She might need to see a team of doctors working in concert because her meds might b conflicting. If she has a medical problem it will interfere with her psych meds. Prioritize her nerve problem since solving it will help her overall condition a whole lot. There's so much advice to give but too little space here. Do keep us updated and I'll try to help out as much as i can. And oh, make sure you join a support group to help you cope with your mom's problems. Good luck!
