Here we go. Meh. So far it hasn't been great.
I've been trying to stick to 2500 caloried or less, but I had a few hiccups. I've had 2 days where I ate around 6000 calories, but this hasn't hurt me in my overall journey. I just got on my treadmill again, since about six months ago.
I'll be a lot happier when more weight comes off, but I visit this site every day, and it's been a big inspiration.
I've slowly gained weight over a long period of time, and I want to look good again. Pretty simple?
My ex wife, who is also my GF (...... kind of weird, but it works) has managed to lose a good chunk of weight, and I'm jealous of her! I also don't want to be the "fat guy" who is with a thinner woman. Also,... in case we do break up, I want to be able to be attractive to other womenz as well!
I've recently developed hip pain, and a little knee pain from being on my feet all day at work, and this is a HUGE motivator for me to lose weight.
I'm also TERRIFIED of things like diabetes, and hip and knee surgeries. I have developed some small skin tags on the side of my neck and armpit, and these are pretty gross things to have. I know my weight is the cause of these, and I never want to get any more of these either.
I used to be able to walk far, jog, and do a lot of exercise. I want to get to a point where I can do more exercise, because I believe that when I'll be able to lose weight much more easily when I can do more exercise. It helps keep me busy, and feeling good about myself, so I don't eat to feel better when I'm working out. Now, I can only do about 1/2 hour of walking on the treadmill at a fairly slow pace. I know that I should be able to increase this to a good level if I workout every day for a month, so I guess that should be one of my goals.
Well, I guess that's it. I've documented my goals, thoughts, and motivations.
I'm sure I'll add more sooner or later.
thanks.
