Hi all my names jake i am 20 Y/O live in England and currently weigh 220 pounds
I started my weight loss journey and lifestyle change a month ago and so far i have lost nearlly 17 pounds which i am happy about. Im new to things like this as it is my first time writing a thread so escuse me if im doing anything wrong i will keep you up to date with my progress and any help or motivation will be welcome. I believe the hardest part is the first step but any step is better then nothing.

Hi Jake and welcome to the diaries! What's your plan of attack? Do you enjoy exercise and veggies or are they tastes yet to be acquired? Do you have a weight or fitness goal to concentrate on?
Best of luck on your journey, LaMa.

Hi LaMa ive been cutting down alot just eating healthy and not eating junk food and eating fruit instead of high calorie snacks, ive found you can still eat nice food that is healthy! Ive recently started the gym again and its going well im a month into it and still have got that motivation you know when you first decide this is it. I dont really have any weight goals my only goal is to complete a half marathon which i have done in the past before i put my weight on so i will work towards that. Thank you LaMa

Hi Jake & welcome to the forum. Eating healthy is so much better than eating junk food. It sounds like you have a good plan. Determination is key to long-term success. All the best, cheers Cate

You have your youth on your side Jake. If you keep it up for just a few more weeks you will see great results.
I look forward to seeing your progress.

Day 1 of thread
Breakfast-natural yoghurt with fruit ,diet shake
Lunch-chicken salad , diet shake
Dinner - salmon and rice

Had a good day i felt , ive been to the gym and went for a jog early morning to say the size i am i still dont feel unfit maybe its because i used to be a sporty person before my injury who knows. Dont know how i feel about these diet shakes they taste good and seem to be working and keeping me full but unsure if i stopped my weight will pile on again will keep you all up to date.

You started! Many people post that first post then never return. Just keep adjusting your program until you find something that is sustainable for you.
