Many things happened to me this year.. Mostly bad.. This is when i realized that i was an emotional eater.. I have gained 10kg.. and I'm not proud of it... I guess I can only blame myself for letting go.. and getting so depressed over a guy who is totally not worth it.. I used to go to the gym almost everyday and made sure that i ate healthy and stayed active..but now.. I'm a huge inactive pig.. My confidence is really at a all time low. I feel so unattractive, not wanted and not at all sexy.. I plan to lose this 10kg and leave it all behind.. this 10kg just reminds me of all the unhappiness i had to go through this year.. I just want to be happy again..

My plan
  • I'll be going on a water fast for 10 Days.. I heard that a water fast can help u flush out all the toxins from all the bad foods from your body.
  • After the 10days I'll have to take it easy and drink juices before switching to solid food like fruits.
  • When my tummy is used to solids I'll start to eat a healthy diet and exercise like how i used to to lose the weight.
 
You heard really really wrong.

Your body is self cleaning - a water fast is not going to clean toxins...

Eating good healthy food will make you h appy... not starving yourself.

After 10 days of not eating yeah you might lose some weight - but it's not going ot be fat that will stay off...

Start reading the stickied threads and do your weight loss correctly so you don't have to do it again and again
 
I sympathize with you. I am an emotional eater and I gained a lot of weight this year... putting my self-confidence at an all time low. How can you feel confident when all your favorite clothes are too tight :(
But I strongly disagree with the whole fasting fad. Like maleficent said, your body "cleanses" itself. Particularly a water fast... that's dangerous. You'd just be starving yourself. Your brain needs glucose to function.
If you really want to "cleanse" your body just increase your fiber and water intake, it will do the rest.

Thanks JadedLady.. I just feel so disgusted with myself right now.. i can hardly fit into any of my clothes! I understand a water fast is dangerous.. and i have decided to listen to you guys..instead i will be eating more fruits to increase my fiber and exercising daily.. i will keep u guys posted on my progress=) keep me posted on your progress too =)
