That is awesome!!! how much actual weight did you gain?

Also.. what is your routine and diet??

Thanks for the bump! I dont always get to check the forums as often as I would like.

Actual weight gain is tricky to answer. Before p90x I was 160 pounds at 12 percent body fat. I dropped to 8 percent body fat at 153.8 pounds. Today I am still at 8 percent body fat (I dont want to loose more fat) and now im gaining weight in pure muscle at 156.6 pounds and counting. Obviously while I was dropping pounds in actual weight I was shedding extra fat while gaining pounds in lean muscle simultaneously. Now my actual weight is on the upswing in gaining muscle and only muscle.

As far as my diet, I eat a high fat/high calorie diet. I stay away from trans fats and sweetened carbohydrates. I eat as close as I can to the classic meditarranean diet. Lots of fresh veggies, meats and potatoes. I cook with olive oil extra virgin a LOT. Before my workouts I take in a low glycemic carbohydrate and protein beverage/snack. Post work out a high glycemic carbohydrate and protein beverage/snack.

can you please explain this?

Ill do my best. It means that while I was in the initial phase of shedding extra fat I was simultaneously gaining weight in muscle. Muscle weighs more than fat which means I must have been loosing fat much more quickly than I was gaining muscle. I don't know that a method exists to measure my weight loss in terms of how much of it was fat loss verses muscle gain.

I thought you might have been using some workouts from the book "Scrawny to Brawny"...but I guess not. You made some awesome gains though bud. Keep up the good work.
