My Elbow Sucks..

When I Do 1 Handed Curls or Bench Presses My left elbow usually acts up. Usually what it feels like is "shocks" that shoot from my elbow up my arm when curling up/pushing up respectively. This happens about 50% of the time and i havent found a trend as to when it happens and when it doesnt.

Very rarely it happens during push-ups too.

I'm very confused because it's not that the weights are too heavy because i can easily lift them but the "shocks" still come.

Any ideas? I have searched online and it almost sounds like golfers or tennis elbow but not quite.
 
The only person who can diagnose this is your doctor. No one online can. That said, it certainly could be tennis elbow (elbow tendonitis). If so, continuing to work out with it could aggravate and lay you up for weeks or months. An ounce of prevention (getting it diagnosed) is worth a pound of cure (being laid up for weeks or months).
