So this is it. I *will* lose that weight, and I will look damn good when fall term starts up again.

I know I'm not going to get down to 145 by fall, but really, I'm hoping to be at 155 by the time fall term starts, which is the end of September.

I've been going for about two weeks and have lost an average of about 7 pounds. Losing weight really, really isn't as hard as I made it out to be. I can still eat a couple chocolate chip cookies in a meal and still lose weight.

I'm also not going to stave myself (i.e completely restrict my calorie intake) If other people can lose weight, why can't I?

We are behind ya, just keep posting in this diary! I too am wanting to "get fit" before the fall semester starts... but we have plenty of time!

Yesterday I worked a 6 hour shift so that was definitely a lot of walking around. I even ordered a grilled chicken sandwich for my break. It was pretty tasty. Then I got home, took a quick nap and went on a walk/jog for about 40 minutes.

This morning I weighed in at 171. Gah! It's been almost a week and it's like my body doesn't want to get below 170. Ghey.

I want pizza. But I'm not going to eat any. Last night a friend and I went to Wal-Mart and I was craving a Three Musketeers, but I got a strawberry popsicle instead :willy_nilly:
 
Yay!! I joined a gym last night!! I'm *so* excited. Best of all, it's open 24 hours so I can go anytime I want! :party:
