I decided I want to record what I eat and drink each day, so that it keeps me on track and held accountable. Also, what my workout consisted of. I figure if I have to share it with others, I will stay on track. I have struggled the past 3 days, and am now back on track. :)
Today's diet:
yogurt with fiber 1 cereal/banana (200 cal)
apple (50 cal)
Bran breakfast bar (150 cal)
Fiber 1 cereal with milk/peach (250 cal)
2 hardboiled eggs (200 cal)
1 tangerine (50 cal)
special k bar (80 cal)
apple (50 cal)

total calories: 1030

Exercise:
45 minute weight training class
50 minutes of cardio (bike, running, eliptical)

Alcohol: none

I see hardly any protein.... add more in!

650 calories is way too little. You will need to up that to keep your body out of starvation mode.

Saying 650 is way too little is an understatment.

Anything under 1200 is WAY too little. It WILL NOT help you. This is a guarentueed fact.

Yeah that diet is a bad idea your putting yourself in starvation mode so yeah u will loose the weight and your body will be starving for vitamins and minerals because your depleting your stored V&M also if your taking V&M your body wont absorb them on that low of diet... not to mention when you come off the diet you will store calories as pure fat... whats your stats Male female how tall how much do u weight etc.... your caloric intake sounds suicidal to me..

I appreciate all the information. I normally eat 1100-1200 calories a day. I just went absolutely crazy the past 3 days and am cutting out a few hundred calories for a couple days to get back on track. I normally eat more balanced and never starve myself. I eat when I am hungry and do not allow my body to feel starved.

use that link u can find out how many calories your supposed to consume... then put in your exercise per day and it will really show u...

As mentioned by @jenniferag, there is definitely not enough protein, and definitely not enough calories. If your exercising your calories shouldn't be below 1200 daily, but use that link from @primevci to get a better estimate of how much you should be consuming.

Also, you said you "just went absolutely crazy the past 3 days and am cutting out a few hundred calories for a couple days to get back on track"...but you shouldn't be cutting a few hundred calories to get yourself back on track. Thats the opposite of what you need to be doing.

If you went off track for a few days, then accept it and move forward by getting back on track with your HEALTHY, WELL BALANCED nutrition plan that should consist of 1200+ calories and some solid workouts. Don't cut calories to get yourself back on track because you'll just dig yourself into a hole you don't want to be in.

I look forward to reading about your progress :)
