Music while exercising

Hello all ...

I have recently joined WLF .... and Im tryin to lose weight through exercise and a healthy diet plan ....

For me, music gives me a new high when Im exercising... especially while im on the treadmill ... Ive got this sony walkman with no cords... it is perfect for all kinds of exercises..

I just wanted to know if there r any music (while exercise) lovers out there... and if yes... please share your playlist.... I wanna keep updatin my playlist

Anything by the black eyed peas does it for me - and also upbeat katy perry numbers - teenage dream, california girls, and especially firework which is upbeat and also has really positive lyrics :)
 
I love 80's, new wave, post punk and more. I listen to The Cure, Front 242, Gruesome Twosome, Vicious Pink, and Depeche Mode.

For me, I love the album Crisis by Alexisonfire. The only time I listen to their music is when I'm working out, or very upset/angry. It's very effective in getting the adrenaline going.

I can't really listen to Pop while I work out, it's not intense enough for me. And I've tried Electronica but it's not working out either. Alexisonfire is by far the best.

I'm not sure if you'll like it, the main singer is a little hard to get used to. But Dallas Green is amazing(<3). All of the songs on that album are fast paced though, they get me so fired up.

Anyways considering the songs you like I suggest these few songs, I really think you'll like them :)

Hey no problem! Glad you liked the songs.

Yeah Alexisonfire is interesting. I'll be honest though, they take some getting used to :p. They grew on me though. Maybe you'll like them, probably not though :p.

Killswitch Engage - My Curse is my last 4 minutes song. Whenever I'm running and I'm almost ready to quit, I throw that down and I'm guaranteed another 4 minutes.
 
When I used to run, "Poison" by Alice Cooper was the perfect cadence. Now I bike for exercise, so no music for me.

I listen to Alice Cooper when I drive to work, though. You should see me change lanes.

I have a remixed Michael Jackson CD that I am loving! It is a continuous mix at 128 bbp so I find it great for jogging. My favorite songs on there are thriller and billy jean.
 
Listening music while exercise is results to smooth running and work better of your mind, it reduce stress and it benefits in many ways such as mental benefits and leads for longer workouts.

I really like listening to Papa Roach, Seether, Goo Goo Dolls when I workout. They really get me pumped and make me want to push myself faster. I need to get some Eminem, I think that would be a good fit for my workout too.

I haven't been running with my music, so I need to get my ipod out and charge it. Take it on my next run. Should make it a little easier and pump me up.
