Well hello and welcome.
I joined this site today to start holding myself accountable, to make friends that have the same goals as I, and to get and give support on our journey's to more or less better ourselves.
My current stats are:
Female
25 years of age
5'4" in height
185 lbs
My start weight one month ago (6/28/2011) was 191lbs. So far I have had a 6lb weight loss (2lbs a week), though I look smaller, and feel a lot better about myself.
I go to the gym every night for 30 minutes to an hour. I do cardio on the treadmill (usually 4.5pmh pace) with some strength training. Normally I do around 3 sets of 10 on every machine I use. Sometimes more, sometimes less.
My goal weight is 135lbs.
I have noticed since I started working out on a regular basis that I feel much better. I have a long standing battle with depression that seems to have seriously faded over this last month. I feel great after I complete a workout and the high from that usually lasts a long time.
I have come to look forward to my workouts every night. The hour I get away from home helps with stress levels, and helps me relax.
I guess if there is anything any of you want to know let me know! Lol!
