I have been trying for about 6 months now to effectively diet.


I have lost about 15 pounds to date.

That doesnt seem like much... I have to remind myself that it is.

I have been trying to stay at or around 1500 calories a day. I dont find the counting hard, I find the eating on the go hard.

Today My wife made my lunch and dinner so it was easy, she counted for me hehe.


We are going to start walking to her work which is also my school (I am in college and she works there)


So heres to another day of not splurging or derailing!:hurray:
 
Ok so yesterday was a hard day.

I had a 300 calorie breakfast

700 calorie lunch

and then.... a 600 calorie dinner and a 100 calorie snack...

for a total of 1700 calories....

I feel bad...

but atleast i didnt go for the pizza I wanted!!!!:smash:


The hardest part of dieting for me is that I just love food. If only I had tape worms...:reddevil:
 
Yesterday was awesome.


I am pretty sure I stayed at about 1500 calories and I wasnt hungry until I went to bed. Even then wasnt nothing bad.

I like not eating after 7 pm, I am losing weight more consistently now.:driving:


To SKINNY ME..... AND BEYOND!!!!
 
Yesterday wasnt too bad. I did go about 600 calories over. But it wasnt a splurge, what I ate wasnt to unhealthy and it was a one time deal.


so yesterdays calories were 2100. still not to bad.


so today I will be kicking some diet ass!!!!

down with the calories!!!

2100 isnt too bad for a guy. What is your exercise looking like?


Like I walk around campus all day 4-5 days a week with a super heavy backpack. lol


I was going to were my heart monitor/calorie tracker to find out how many calories I am burning above resting.



other than that. Shauna(my wife) and I will be walking to work 2-3 days a week starting next week which is 2.5 miles.
 
4 days since my last update!!!!

Damn me!!!



I have been good all four days.

I think I only went over 1500 last night and then i had about 1800 calories.

I have been losing weight very consistently now, which I am happy about.


I think it has affected my mood abit though. I dunno. 2 weeks back on track and I have lost about 5 pounds!

I am pretty stoked!

My wife and I are trying this new thing of spreading our calories evenly over 3 meals. we shall see...


I actually found it hard to have 500 calories for breakfast.. SO I had some juice.... I love juice!
 
Yesterday was awesome. Not one drop over 1500 infact I had 1420 and was not hungry at all!!!


I am stoked!!!


Tomorrow is our test walk of walkig to work and school. So here goes nothing...


I also have 3 damn exams this week. I am a tad stressed.
 
Woohoo for staying under calories! It's good you and your wife decided to walk to work, it'll make a huge difference =D And soon you'll be like "cmon, lets run to work!" lol...or maybe not?

As for running.. My backpack weighs like 20 lbs between books and laptop... so ... no running...
