im gonna say you can eat right after without any penalty, but after cardio you're still burning calories because your heartrate is still increased. An extra half an hour of fat burning without even doing anything is a hard thing to deny yourself. But if your schedule doesnt permit, i dont think it would hurt your progress any to eat immediately after. You just wouldnt be maximizing your returns
