Diet: Weight Watchers Core Plan. Cheat day is Friday. I eat one meal of what ever I want and I don't count it. Weigh in day is every Wednesday.

Exercise: 45 minutes of cardio 3-5 x a week

Water: 100-200 oz over a 10 hour period. Yes am in the b-room a LOT.

Lots of fiber intake. Never more than the daily recommended amount.

Weight loss record to date:

I have cut out alcoholic beverages since 10-31-08. Mostly because I have been sick since the haloween party and haven't felt like drinking. I found that the WW flex plan gave me the max points allowable at 44 per day. I looked at it as a way to keep eating crappy. The core foods plan has taught me to eat healthier. I plan on updating my diary every Wednesday when I Weigh in.


Some short term goals I have reached since September:
Rode my bicycle from my house to my work, a total of 10 miles one way. I did call for a ride home once I got there. First bike ride was 2 miles.

Up to 45 minutes cardio training. Started at 10.

I have a goal of 10% of my body weight lost by thanksgiving and 50 pounds by Christmas. I think I am going to be a bit shy of the 10% but I am seriously busting ass to get it done. NOT skipping meals or changing the way I eat!!!

I plan on buying a motorcycle at 100 pounds. Target date is July 1st 2009. Fat guys on motorcycles look horrible. I know that if I get 100 off I will look normal enough to ride one.
 
As of Wed the 26th I was up +.8 of a pound. What a bummer. First time I have been up since I started. Then Thanksgiving day came around and I ate about 10,000 calories. I have increased my workout program to 7 days a week now. 4 days cardio and 3 days weight training. I am focusing my chest and arms.
 
Yes, got back from weight watchers and I was down 8 pounds for the week. I worked out 6 days last week doing cardio 3 days and I began weight lifting the other 3. 10% weight loss goal achieved.
 
Lost 1.8 as of last night. Down a total of 40.2. I think it would have been over 2 had I been able to go to the bathroom before I weighed. I always try to stop drinking water after eating lunch so I don't have a full bladder when I weigh in. Yesterday I downed about 50 oz between lunch and my meeting at 5:30.

Last year I was diagnosed with a bone spur and arthritis my hip. I work about 100 yards from a big mall and I struggled to walk there and back for lunch due to the pain. My hip pain has decreased overall about 60% since September. It is sore the night after working out but feels great the next day. I am up to 6 laps around the mall as of yesterday. I sweat like a pig tho lol. Since I have started lifting weights more I notice my leg muscles are growing quickly. I have increased my leg extensions by 20 pounds leg curls by 30 and the leg press by 20 over the last few weeks. I have also gone from 60 stomach crunches to 125. I am stuck on 40 lower abdominal crunches but I can tell those muscles have rarely gotten worked out because they are sore for at least 3 days.

The really weird change in my life is my sleeping. I used to be able to sleep 10-12 hours a night and was groggy every day. I always felt my head was in a fog. Now I sleep 5-7 hours a night and feel awake and alert the next day.
 
Right at zero last weigh in. No gain no loss. I'm not too worried. Had my christmas party for work which consisted of many many beers, food, and more beers. So that screwed me all up. I hadn't had a beer since October 31st.

2 weeks off weight watchers so I am hoping to get 10 pounds off by next weigh in. I wanted to be 50 pounds total lost by Jan 1st but Ill take it a week later.

I did notice two things recently I haven't seen in a while...my bottom jaw line and my ribs. I was shaving the other day and was like...wtf is wrong with my face.... Nothing its my jaw. I hadn't seen it in a while since my fat face was hiding it. Then I was laying in bed thinking wtf is poking my chest area....it was my ribs and solor plexus. Neither of which I have seen in at least 8 years since my gigantic, fat, harpoon scarred gut was hiding them.

Also decided to ease up off the weights a bit and focus more on cardio.
 
Haven't updated this in a while. Since last posting I quit weight watchers, I am so used to this lifestyle now that I don't think I need it. I am down a total of 60.1 pounds and actually lost 6 pounds over the week of christmas. It's almost like I don't have to try to loose any more it just comes off every week.

I do eat 2 crappy meals a week. One is pizza. I am addicted to pizza and I can't quit eating it. Then I will go out to lunch or eat chinese one day a week.
 
wow congrats on the 60 pounds ... and losing weight during christmas?! =P amazing! keep up the hard work... and you it will pay off ... just 40 more pounds til you motorcycle^^
