MONEYSHOT JOURNAL ~ Call on Meeee....

:)

Hey everyone, noob here trying to burn FAT!!! like you're not used to reading that. But let me explain to you who I am. I am a junior in college. Current height is 5'7, and weigh 200 (been losing some lately) I started a blog if you guys want to check it out. Or should I be posting my entries here? Any comments, suggestions, whatever is appreciated. My goal is 20-30lbs, or until I can wear those tight muscle abercrombie shirts in my closet that I spent way too much on and found out what muscle fit really means (ie. XSmall)

Check it out...and comments are cool

DAY ONE:
Weight: 206lbs

Okay so this blog will be about me and my progress in losing a shitload of weight, I hope. If the people from the Biggest Loser can do it, so can I. Heres my story, I am about 5'7 in height and currently weigh 206. Short and fat...changes must be taken. I do not have a plan as to how much fat I plan to lose, but that is what I am focusing on...dropping the fat and lowering my weight. Muscle will be focused on later when I am at a comfortable number. I hope to lose about 40lbs, or atleast until I can start wearing those abercrombie polo shirts I have in my closet without them being too tight. I am serious about dieting this time and hope to keep this blog updated daily. With weight checks every Thursday. Pictures will be added as well.

Today I ate:
Breakfast:
2 kellogs cereal bars (180calories)

Lunch:
Sandwich on wheat toast with mustard, Turkey and American Cheese
Small Salad with Greek dressing?
some pieces of oranges

Midafternoon snack of an apple.

No dinner, took a really long nap was just tired today.

Please leave comments or any type of tips, encouragement, whatever. Thanks

DAY TWO:
Weight: 201.5lbs (?)

Really don't know what happened here but I either lost a few pounds or I misread it the first time... I am at 201 now. Today I felt hungry all day but only had a breakfast and an early dinner. Last night sucked I got so hungry staying up until 3am for some stupid fucking reason. I had to hit the fridge. Had 2 slices of wheat bread buttered lightly and another yogurt (60calories). Today I had brunch around 10am and then some salad when I got home from school.

Brunch:
Two slices of wheat bread with cream cheese (little)
Banana Bread
Scrambeled Eggs
some watermelon chunks

Early Dinner:
Lite Caesar Salad with lite dressing

Late Dinner:
2 slices of whole wheat bread with cottatge cheese. Probly the best purchase I made today after I went food shopping. This thing has no fat colories, little to no carbs, and it makes these pieces of bread taste great.

Going to go lift/walk right now for a bit.

UPDATE: Just got back from my 2mile walk (i'm on a recovering severly sprained ankle I can't jog yet) and I did some biceps, benchpress and a little triceps...also had a protein shake immediatly after this...waited a few hours 4 or so before having that bread and cheese. Also checked the scale after changing. Saw I was at an even 200, don't know whats going on yet..am I actually losing this weight this fast? Or am I halusinating? This can't be healthy....

Here are some pictures of me currently:

it wld help if u copy n paste wat u eat and yr exercise here. most of us prob won't hv the time to go to yr blog cos there are many diaries here already. think it's a good idea???;)

Well... I know it's tempting and load knows alot of us go through this...

But STOP WEIGHING YOURSELF EVERY DAY. :p heh

Your weight will fluctuate SO much even from hour to hour that weighing that much is going to drive you completely crazy.
Weigh in once a week after you wake up. From what I was told, that will be your most accurate weight.

Also try not to skip any of your meals.
If you want or feel the need to... keep track of the amount of calories you have.
Go to sparkpeople.com and fill out their little quetionaire to see their opinion on about how many calories you should be having each day.

And yep.... welcome welcome! You sound so determined! I'm so excited for ya! You're gonna do awesome! :D

I know!! Its soo lame/tempting to weigh myself twice a day or what not even in the blog I think I said i'd only do it once a week...like that worked. I'll try to avoid the scale for a while but no promises!

I just went shopping today for food so I wont be skipping any from now on, now theres healthy food in the house with my name on it.

Hehe... I'm the same way. Last week I was weighing myself multiple times a day and it was just driving me crazy seeing the different numbers popping up on the scale.
Now, I've restricted myself to just once a week (well twice this week since my weighin day changed).
It's SO hard not stepping on that scale, specially since it's right outside our bathroom heh... but I know it's for the best :)

You should also take your measurements! If you weighin and don't see the scale move, you could always be losing those inches which is just as great if not better! :D

Day:3
Weight: 200lbs

Got a tip that I shouldn't be weighing myself everyday, but I can't stop. I suppose I will eventually. Heres the deal, woke up around 2ish, I went to bad late, and woke up late. When I woke up I made a bowl of kashi cereal, its the one with all the healthy fiber shit. With Smart Choice milk I think its called. Then around 4 I had another big salad, then at around 6:30 I began my walk/run of 2 miles again then some sit ups, no gym today. Burned like 250, and like 30-40 fat calories. About 7:30 I ate a small meal.

Late Breakfast:
Bowl of Kashi cereal with Smart Choice Milk

Late Lunch:
Lite Caesar salad
Late Dinner:
2 slices of whole wheat bread with cottatge cheese. and a light/fit yogurt

Midnight snack:
another yogurt, with no more than 60 calories to it, as I don't expect to be going to bed for a while.

Waters throughout the day, I will probly not be mentioning these...

Those light & fit yogurts with the crave control are weird! Have you tried them.. bleh! lol.. sounds like your on the right track! Are you logging your calories? It might help you track your weight so that you can go back and look at things. Fitday.com and Sparkpeople.com both have some great tools to figure you what your calorie range should be for your body type and level of activity.

The ladies are correct - weigh can flux big time through out the day. It's not bad to weigh often but don't take it as your official weight until the day and time you decide on. It's best to do it neked in the morning - post potty  lol... that way your weighing just you and not your pants and you lunch.

Checked out your before pictures and it looks like you have a pretty good base to start with, the treasure trail is super sexy btw. ;):D

Just remember, it's not going to be easy but you CAN do it!! And if you're looking for support then you've come to the right place. Good Luck! :D

1. Those are the ones I am eating, Crave Control? Didnt even notice until now...

2. Stop looking at my treasure trail! ;)

Welcome to the forum! I promise I won't eye rape your treasure trail...some of us have manners...ahem...some...

You're doing good. My ONE suggestion is to up your water intake to about 100 oz a day. You'll start seeing the fat melt away. I believe the idea behind this is if your not hydrated your liver is doing work your kidneys should be doing, and when you are hydrated your liver is freed up to burn the fat efficiently. Give it a try, the only thing it can do is make you pee alot...and I mean alot.
Great job so far, your pics are going to astound you in a few more months. I'm glad to see yet another soul saved from the fad diet frenzy by opting to use diet and excersize to lose weight instead of looking for a magic pill. For inspiration you should check out fatguytri's journal. Now theres a motivated man!
See you around and keep up the good work!

hey now! I wasn't eye raping... just enjoying the view!! lol :D

And iwan's right - I upped my water from 20oz a day (maybe) to at very least 64oz and I lost 10lb of just water weight within 2 weeks! Not saying you'll see anything that dramatic but it maybe more than you expect.

How'd you do today TMS?
