Hi Everyone,
Here is my story. After I graduated from college, i was 284 pounds. I have Del Taco and Heineken to thank for that. it took me a while to get down to were i am right now...around 220 lb. I lost most of the weight through diet changes. I developed really bad eating habits in college. i never once cooked the entire 4 years...always eating out at fast food restaurants and chugging down can after can of soda. Large portions and sugary and fatty food brought be just shy of 300 pounds. i was in bad shape. So i decided to go on a diet. At first i went on the low-carb diet. it did its work for a while (dropped 30 pounds) then i switched to a low calories diet which made more sense and was easier to live with. It also shined some light on some of the things that i were eating on the Atkins diet that were actually really bad for ( in the quantities that i was eating that is). So i stuck to the low-cal diet and dropped another 40 pounds. I was hiting the gym every night, either jogging on the tredmill or weight lifting. I was down to 210 almost, then gained some weight back when summer started and fun began..*cough* booz *cough*. Now that summer is over, i khave again given up drinking and am ready to start my diet again. Im going to start the low-cal diet again. 1800 calories a day should be fine. And jog and weight train as much as my work schedule allows me. So i though i should share my progress throught this log and keep myself motivitated. Here are some current pictures

props on getting down from where you were before. It sounds like you've got a solid plan and you should do well very quickly. Good luck!
