mid section

Hi im having trouble slimming down from my lower abs to my upper thighs, I've been working out for awhile now and there has been little to no change in that whole area. what excercises help this area , by the way im 5'7" and weigh 145 and workout with a total gym.

Work large muscle groups to burn the most fat. Do ~40 minutes of cardio at least 3 times per week. Make sure you stay in or near 70-80% of your max HR.

Roman chair and leg raises will work your lower abs nicely.

Ditto! If your diet isn't clean, you're not going to lose body fat; and no matter the amount of exercises you do to work your abs and thighs, you won't lose.
