Marvelous Night for a Moondance...Diary

The funeral sucked and was a good at the same time. So many people turned out...it was amazing. I was particularly impressed with our schools. The daughter, who has only been in 7th grade for 1 week, had all her teachers there. Also, her 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th & 6th grade teachers as well as the principal and office assistants from her elementary school were there.

The family had a "Celebration of Live" gathering at their home after the memorial services. It was a good group of people, offering support and loving memories.

This whole incident has made me reflect on my own life and how I would react if I were in the same shoes.

But...this is a weightloss forum, so I'll not be too depressing here. I have to say though, that through this all, I didn't eat away my pain and sorrow. In fact, this kind of situation kills my appetite. I got on the scale this morning and it said 194. Woohoo!!!!

My workouts are staying pretty consistent, which is great too. I'm feeling good, energetic, and motivated. I hope it continues! I just need to drink more water!!!!!
