Hi all,

Over the past 5 years i put on a lot of weight, i went from size 10-12 to size 16-18. Used to go hiking, swimming, running marathons with my friends, but not any more, and thats really makes me angry with myself. So i decided to do something about it. So here it is:

I'm 26 yoa. Weight is 14st(90kg) and my BFM is 35% and i'm only 160cm in height (shocking i know)

I want to lose 5 stone by the end of this year, well thats the plan if i'll stick to it:) I think i will:)

I started yesterday:
Brkf: non fat yogurt + oatmeal with skimmed milk
Snack: Pear
Lunch: Brown rice(a cup) + grilled chicken
Snack: Low fat protein bar
Dinner: Mixed greens salad with olive oil and lemon juice + grilled lean loin
Before going to bed: cup of green tea.
Gym: 30min cardio + 30 - 50min weights

I hope to stick to it, and this site really gives me motivation.

Thanks a lot

well done for taking this step/. i hope we give you the motivation and determination you need to carry this journey on although by the sound of it you have enough of your own. maybe a good target would be to run a marathon at the end of this year with your friends again? you could enter now and that would give you massive incentive to lose :)
nice to have you here
xx

Thanks Sophie335, this forum really gives me motivation and also i realised that i have to keep myself occupied at all times, so i won't think of food:)
So if i'm not going to gym, i'll go for a walk or read a book in a park :)

I'll keep my diary updated every week this will give me motivation too.

Cheers;)

Well, one week behind and i have lost 1 kg so far. But i did get a big fat take away on sat after few drinks, so that actually made me realise, that i should stop with the drinks at least for the first few weeks of my diet. Once i get couple glasses of wine, i get very hungry and can't stop myself and then i got very angry with myself in a morning for doing that.
So i decided instead of my usuall one hour workout today i'll have 2 hours.:)
