Wow then that must be a very rough workout! I had a mental image of cheerleading or the flag girls infront of the marching band...lol. waay off!

LOL, now thats funny! Its not as rough as hockey, but you know girls can be quite mean in their own ways.

The day is going pretty good right now, just not too happe about my:
1 halloween candy (twix) = 50
3 crakers + cream cheese = 50

after lunch, anyways as long as i stay in my calorie intake i guess.
But dont u think you can lose weight faster if u stay away from high sugar foods and high carbs?
 
I just hate living at home!!!!!!
My mom made cookies and i had 2 thats at least 200cal each

Today’s meal plan:

2 slices of toast + jam + peanut butter = 300
1 cup of skim milk = 80
Lunch = carrot soup + small bake potato = 300
Yogurt = 50
1 halloween candy (twix) = 50
3 crakers + cream cheese = 50
Lean cuisine = 240
2 cookies = 400

total = 1470

over by 270
I'm kinda pissed right now, dont know why i couldnt stop myself. Now i have to go to the gym i have no choice, i was planing to take a day off from it because i have tons of work due for tomorrow, my legs are sore and i'm tired...
 
Yesterday night I did terrible, I had 2 more cookies and a second diner at 3 in the morning, then at 6 I had ½ cup of ice cream, don’t ask me why I did that, I have no clue. I’m not too happy about myself. I need to start thinking before I eat…”Whats the point of me eating this? Will I be happy later on? I know I will regret this…even if its soo yummy right now!”

So today, I skipped my breakfast considering I ate soo much, for lunch and diner; it will be very low in carbs. The choices of the day Salad and tuna 200cals (lunch plan might change a bit, will know only last minute) and vegetables soup with a bit of noodles 100, for desert yogurt 50cals and strawberries 50cals. I’m going to head to the gym after my long day at work…training today…all day, no clue what time its going to finish at.
 
hey mandy,
skipping breakfast sets off an alarm for me. Eating a good breakfast and smaller meals after words would probably be better for ya. Don't beat yourself up too much, playing ringette burns tons of calories... by the looks of things you're doing great!
 
Yeah.. pretty much what he said. Hang in there Mandy, backsliding is totally normal. Don't beat yourself up. Hang in there!! :D:D:D
 
I haven’t been on for a while, since Wednesday. Work has been crazy. I’ve been going to the gym so that’s a good thing. Last week I went to the gym Monday to Friday for some reason Friday I ended up hurting my foot, its getting better so I should be back at the gym tomorrow, I’m going to give it a rest. Saturday I didn’t go to the gym but from all my quick walking at the mall I’m pretty sure it was a good workout, Sunday I had ringettes, so I was pretty active last week, pretty happy about that.

Still having a problem to lose, I don’t understand why…maybe I should totally cut of high carb foods? But that’s no fun, I rather just count my calories. I know Sunday I over did it with the bread…but what can I do…today is a new day…I find more and more as the weeks go by each week I’m doing better and better in controlling what I eat.

Today’s meal plan:

Vector cereal, cranberries, raisins, ½ banana and a cup of soy milk = 350
½ rice + turkey + veggies = 300
Vanilla mouse = 60

Total : 710
 
Mandy I haven't lost anything for over 4 weeks, talk about disappointed.
I'm sure its just a little burp in your weight loss. I'm sure everything will work out fine.....

I feel so bla today, it has been raining for a week in montreal, it just sucks!
i wanted to be at my goal weight by dec 23rd, but thats going to be impossible.

I would like to at least lose 20pounds by then...would that be possible? If so...any suggestions what kind of plan i can follow?
 
hey mandy, well, let's see...you have about 39 lbs to go in about a 9 week period....doing the math-that's a bit over four pounds a week. Seeing as how everyone says that safe and permanent weight loss is about 2 lbs per week for this weight group, I would say that it doesnt seem like a good idea. But think about it another way, 2 lbs/week times nine weeks would be 18 lbs round up and you have about a loss of twenty pounds. you would be in the mid 150's, do you realize how big of a change that would still be! definitely a pant size difference!
 
the only plan I have seen that would strip it off like that is Atkins and I don't recommend that unless your have very strong will power. I say stay with the Engineer diet and just follow the numbers lol................
