I'm back!

Been on vacation for 2 weeks now didn't do any much! still at 195lb phew!

its pretty relax, got 14-15 weeks left of vacation no school work but only 2 day job and housework, so I better start exercising lol

I did cardio yesterday. But then found out about interval workout, it seem interesting. So today I did 20 min of it and man I am burned. more then when I do a 45min of cardio!

So it was something like that: I used a aerobic step.
40sec of going fast and 1 min of going slowly all that in 20 min I wanted to do 30min but was to tired.

my heartbeat after 1 min I finished was 156/min and 1 hour after its 106/min my resting hb its at 78/min

I want to do it again in the evening and see how it go. I plan to do it 4-5time a week its way more exiting then a hour of cardio

as for my eating.... mmm for started I have to stop getting up at 12pm! I sleep to late and wake up late, very bad habit I have during the vacation! well I'll set my alarm clock at 7am or 8am.

breakfast: 1 boiled egg with cereal black coffee
snack: fruit
dinner: 2 slice of bread with boiled egg, apple sauce sometime pasta
snack: cheese or fruit or popsicle
supper: chicken with vegetable, or pizza, egg roll, anything in moderation (no pasta in the evening)

Well I should eat more in the afternoon and have a light supper its better. maybe I should split my supper in 2 different time, and probably I should stop eating so late lol

lets see how long i will keep it up and how low I'll stick to interval workout.

Hi mam, welcome back from holidays.

Its interesting what you say about interval training. I know its good for increasing your fitness faster than straight running or walking. You do'nt say what you do for cardio so i can't comment much on htat but if you are doing it in a gym, frankly of course its going to be pretty boring, unless you've got something good to listen to. But when i exercise, i like to think about exercise or other things. If you are listening to music, you are not tuned in to your body. Anyhow, its great you've found something you like.

How late do you eat supper. I eat my nighttime meal attime between 6.30 and 7.30 most nights and i eat quite a bit with no negative consequences but i don't eat anything after that and i find it no trouble.

You are totally right about getting up earlier though. Its a very hard pattern to break out of. I"ve been there. I've broken it now with a couple of things.
A project that requires being up in teh day time - gardening - and which i like
Lots of sunlight on me in the early morning - this might be one of the most significant factors. I will be sad to move out of this house back into a dark room. It will be challenging to get up early then perhaps but do enjoy being up through the day now.
Going to bed earlier so that its easy to get up earlier.
 
i'm back! with 10 more pounds :( I weight 205lb I thought I weighted 195lb but the scale that I bought in a second hand store was wrong -_-' we bought it because it was for 3$ plus I saw I didn't weight so much on this loll . but the other one is wright since my mom weighted herself at work and it gave the same as the old scale. the new scale give us less pound :(

then again I did exercise 3-4/w in the last 2 week,, but the food I ate... I think at the second week of vacation I was at 200lb. eating a lot: I have a big weakness for lays bbq chips, chocolate and ice cream! and fried food. and sugar juice. lol I need to distance myself from it! really I need to make big lifestyle change it so hard. I always think if i ate a little of it it wont hurt me, but still I'll have to redefine "little" ha!

on the other hand I started drinking green tea for a fews days. I do feel less hungry when I drink it. like i feel full, its better when I have a glass of water after too. drinking 2-3 cup a day is great for. now I need to force myself to drink more water. I love the taste of water but i'"m so lazy lol but then again I have a nice bottle of water of 24oz in my bedroom guess i'll have to force myself since its important.

as for exercise I really like the interval thing. I feel great and tired after doing 40min of it on a step aerobic. I could do 25min of it take a break and another 25min I feel i could do it now. well that is that. later I'll post the food I eat.

oh wait 2day it say i weight 200lb and I weighted myself after breakfast, weird, but still I woke up at 12pm yesterday and today I really need to set my alarm clock off to wake up earlier lol so I guess i'm not at 205lb I'll see tomorrow again.

yesterday I did my 50min interval workout, took a break after 25min its felt good, plus the time fly fast. like its doesn't seem long and its fun with a few disco tune :)

then yesterday i drank 4 bottle of water. ate 1600 calories approx. I need to buy some oatmeal for breakfast. its will give me more energy.
 
ohh I really need one of those numeric scale!

anyway I did exercise 4x last week. with no junk food. I did have some snack at night but it was decaff green tea some fruits or cereals.

but I'm not going to weight myself yet. I don't want to give up. but still a numeric scale would be very encouraging. I will ask my mom this week hehe.

I am waking up a bit early then usual, like around 9h30-10 yes its is early for me! I should try around 8h. I'm still doing my interval Cardio work out and loving it, but i'm doing it 40min 4-5x a week. lots of sweats but still feel great. in 2-3 weeks I'll upper my aerobic step its only have 2 level.

for breakfast I eat:

oatmeal: 180
green tea: 0?
apple: 90

Lunch:

egg sandwich: 480

snack:

dry cereal: 120
_____________________ 870cal
Supper:

could be anything but I avoid pasta
Its mostly chicken with vegetable
sometime pizza
need to be more creative!

snack: fruits or dry cereal
 
ok ok I finally got my digital scale, so i'm only going to stick with this one not the old one, plus i'll weight myself ONCE a week. I don't get the point of doing this everyday (just realized now haha)

starting weight: 205lb
curent weight : 202lb
goal weight: 140lb

need to find a measurement tape, we got two in the house but can't find it -_-'
my mini goal is 175lb for now
still sticking to my 40min intervall workout but could add 20 min of doing something else i'll have to search those youtube video
 
I'm at 201.4 lb If i ate right I could have lost more but still I only did exercise 3X last week. Now i've changed my routine. for the interval workout I now do: 20 sec high & 20 sec low. I do 5 set of 10 min. I try to make it really intense. since I'm on vacation I should try doing 2set in the morning and 3 in the afternoon so it will seem less long.

hear rate was between 140-150 sec after the workout then it was 120 pretty good.
 
that was way to much for my knee! I should take a break from it and do some move from turbo jam. I could customize it in my way I don't like following video anyway. I should try tomorrow.

its like I feel i'm not doing much with interval workout. like the intense part is not really intense.
 
Wow I can't believe it been 1 year since my last post and still no change but weight gain :( plus its been since 2008, I was lurking in this forum... even I gained weight :S Now I got visit and all.. I think I'm around 210lb :( and I can say this has been my most sedentary, most bad eating habit year :S University is so stressful and some other factor too... Plus in the first two week in march I was having irregular hear beat :S. now it back to normal....


yesterday I staked and placed 100 huge garden blocs, well you know how painful are my muscle now :S


I dunno I wasted the best year of my life, shy, overweight, overeating and figuring how to lose weight during the summer..etc


I deceive myself so much... College year was ruff at the begging. But i had alot of free time after the next semester... I could have make a good schedule work out, plus I always had 12-14week of summer vacation to kick start my healthy and active habit but always gave up. I can see last year I was pushing myself to hard with the exercise hurt my knee.


But except aerobic step there is not much I can do... I can't join or gym plus there is many peep of my town I don't wanna see... I'm stuck inside. I at least I have dumbbell and all. its really help to exercises with 5pound dumbbell in each hand. Quite a workout...


as for my eating habit. You know when your on vacation with no job, you wake up around 11am yeah that a problem too. I know I have to start my day with a coffee and sandwich, But I'm way better by eating oatmeal and coffee in the morning, then an egg sandwich for dinner with some fruit snack. I don't like to change my food in the morning and dinner. Some food I can't take well in the morning. The only problem I have is with supper time. I need to be creative. I recently discovered vermicelli noodles : its so good and can get a good price. as for meat I limit myself to chicken and ham.


I dunno, since I work with my dad and he paid me well ...living close to a grocery store didn't help... plus my mom still buy me alto of junk food too.


So that that. nothing changed much except thing got worse I'm at my highest weight now :S
