Hey guys,

I'm new here,
i guess i'll start with a little about my myself...

I'm 18, 5'11 and about 92 kilos atm,
I started working out at about 14 and enjoyed it ever since.

I done my back in around the begining of this year and haven't done much wieght lifting during then. I've basically lost my physique [for now] and slowly getting back into form.

I will be having an operation within 4-6 weeks [rhinoplasty] and will not aloud to lift heavy wieghts for 2-3 weeks, though light stetching/light excersises is ok. The last thing i need is another distraction/obstacle into getting me ready for this summer, but a couple of weeks wont hurt assuming i dont lose any progress i make.

What light excersises/stretches can i do during that 2-3 weeks to maintain my results and ensure I can pick up right where i left off?

Also does anyone know exactly why i cant do heavy wieghts during that 3 weeks? I've seen extreme makeover where the patient is doing weight while the stitches and gauze are still on her face [meaning 1st week]. Is it just an unecessary precautionary mesure or should i take it as seriously as possible?

Thank you for your time:)

i don think you should do anything at all. You should just do STRETCHES. If you do them EVERYDAY, then it should be equivalent to doing light exercises and it should keep you fit. But consult your doctor if u are allowed to do stretches with your injured muscles.
