Well, this is my very first online, public diary. I guess I should share a little bit about my past attempts and "sort of" accomplishments at weightloss. I've done Slim-for-life twice. Both times I lost my weight and reached my goal and both times I skipped maintenance and gained it back within 2 years. I've tried Atkins and can't get past the killer migraines to stay on it. Weight Watchers is tedious and Jenny Craig did not taste good. I know how to lose weight, I just can't seem to keep it off. I LOVE food! So I've decided to incorporate exercise, along with a food diary and join a group like this. Hopefully, it will all make me accountable.

Day 1 (today): I began Jillian Michael's 30 day shred. I've done this before and decided to get back on it again. The only thing that worries me is my knees. This is a killer workout in a short period of time but my knees are always stiff and hurting afterwards. If anyone has a good suggestion on relieving or preventing the knee pain, let me know. I have good shoes just history of bad knees.
