Lower abs help

I am a 23 year old, 6ft and weigh about 85kg, I also play football (soccer) but recently i had a cruciate ligament torn off and a tor in the cartiladge in my knee, and had to go about 2 months without training. Now I've been 8 days training at home (gym) (abs with sit up bench and videos that i have, arms with dumbbells and the PUSH UP PRO). Also I've been on a diet, my problem is that my abs are looking like they are taking shape again but my lower abs seem to remain the same. What exercises do you recommend for lower abs and to burn the belly fat.

PS I cannot jog but yesterday i started to train my leg muscles after my physio recommended

Hey,

with regards to burning fat from just your belly, that's imposable you could sit there doing situps till your blue in the face fat is kind of like water it goes where it wants and goes from the place it chooses. so with that in mind lets move forward.

working out is only 50% of getting defined or ripped abs. the other half comes form nutrition because you could have the best set of abs form working out but unfortunately there are multi layers of fat around the abdominal's so firstly i would take a look at your nutrition to figure out what you can do to help your body with the extra exercises and also to help your body burn the fats that you now have form the in activity form a knee injury.

also with regards to not being able to run i would trade that with things that you can do in water like swim water aerobics.

hope that helps and you reach your goal :)
