Low Carb and Keto studies

Thanks for all these links. I will need more time to research all the information. I know that if you eat fewer carbs than you need, you can hurt yourself. Also, keto is not suitable for everyone, thanks for the links.

aside from the difficulty in getting various essential micro-nutrients otherwise, there is no nutritional need to ingest any carbohydrates. ketosis is a digestive function shared by all humans... it is the process that allows us to burn fat as fuel. the goal of a keto diet is to keep you in that state through balancing macronutrients. taking any diet to extreme measures is never recommended.
