I can't believe I'm just now getting around to "writing" everything down. I guess that is because these last few pounds have been a killer to loose. I am down to the wire and don't want to stop now. I have always been a little overweight (between 145-155) and always envied those girls who could wear cute outfits and go to the pool and wear the skimpy stuff..I've dieted in the years past, but could only loose maybe 5 or 6 pounds. This is the most i've lost (only because I dished out some money for a program, i'm sure some of you can relate) and the smallest i've been since before i was married 5.5 years ago. However, as an adult I've never been where I want to be...and I WILL do it. it has taken me 14 weeks to loose this much, so my progress has been slow.
Everyone on here is so encouaging, you guys are great!!
My husband really can't relate (yeah, the guy who has no clue about bloating, or big butts):eek:
anyone needing to loose the last 5 or 10 pounds is welcome to be my buddy. I must remember that healthy living is a lifetime process, and not just some "slim in 6" weeks thing, and then go back to the oh so yummy chocolate. Balance and faith that with God's help I can do all things!!!!:)
 
Good luck Lovely!! Everybody's body is different, for some people it takes alot longer to loose weight, so just take it one day at a time and you will get to your goal. It'll only make loosing that last bit of weight that much sweeter.You can do it!!
 
Today was a good day for me, even though it rained all day, oh well, we are in deserate need of rain.
I guess what makes trying to loose weight hard for me is having to prepare a separate meal for my husband to eat for supper. He DOES NOT like anything healthy, so every night I make 2 different meals. It is a lot of work. Tonight I made chicken breast, broccoli, and rice for myself, luckily I had leftovers for him...
But, it will not stop my progress, I've got to say on track...Today I drank A LOT of water, and ate pretty reasonably. It is my last week of the weight loss program, so after this weekend, I'm on my own. Oh, well, I know I have you guys to cheer me on....
 
wow, he won't eat anything healthy? that's ok - you'll be hot stuff (and you probably are now) and he won't be able to get up off the couch :D

yeah! you're right...my energy level is always up, probably from exercising....oh, i need to start back tomorrow. it will be sooo worth it. My tummy is growling right now, it always does late at night..
 
I didn't do too good today, had a birthday party, plus, pizza with some friends. tomorrow is a new day and plan to get back on the bandwagon...
 
Thats a great way to look at it Lovely, don't beat yourself up for having one indulgent day, sometimes we just need to induldge otherwise we just end up binging on stuff we shouldn't, so just get back on track tomorrow and you will be just fine. Good luck!

Thanks everyone.....tomorrow (wednesday) I go weigh in, if I could just loose like 2 pounds, I would be sooooo happy. it would really help me to keep going, it's when the scale don't move. I will check back and let you know how it goes.....(crossing fingers!!)
 
I'm sending up prayers and sending out positive vibes....wait, what's that I hear?? I think it was the sound of 2 pounds falling off of Lovely! :D :D

You know you had me confused don't you? I saw this diary of yours and scratched my head because I "thought" I had been writing to you in your diary already. I had been trying to check on you in this one:
 
So sorry about that OHD....i didn't know if i had one or not...duhh!! I'm not on here as much as I would like, but I must get more strick with my diet. However those 2 lbs I wanted to loose, THEY'RE GONE. I weighed in at the clinic and they are now gone...I will change my ticker ASAP..
Plan for next week:
2 starches, 2 fruits, 2 protiens, and 2 or 3 veggies per day. I think if I can stick with this, the weight will once again begin to drop..But if I exercise, I might have to add another starch, just have to wait and see...
