love handles

i have been battling with love handles for about 2 years now. you know, that little bit of fat that hangs over the side of your jeans and makes you extremely self conscious. any advice on how get rid of this is greatly appreciated
 
Eat right and do cardio. Other than that, we have no control over where our bodies will hold on to fat and where it will release it. Sucks, I know.

That is good for strengthening your abs and obliques.. But unfortunately it wont do jack for love handles. Love handles are made up of fat. Fat is not burned by performing crunches, or bends or leg raises.

Side crunches may strengthen the obliques, but they won't cause the fat to go away. Only cardio/diet will do that.
