In the beginning of August I weighed about 235-240 lbs at about 5'9-5'10. The only type of exercise I did was lifting a 25lb dumbbell working my biceps every few days. I also ate a LOT of junk food during the week(chips, lots of soda everyday and chinese or mcdonalds 1-2 times a week) and everything I drank had sugar in it(almost never drank water). At the end of August, I decided it was time to stop. I cut out almost all junk food, started eating more greens and chicken, started drinking 10 glasses of water a day and maybe one cup of soda a day. I also started going to the gym at least 2-3 times a week for an hour lifting weights and doing some cardio(elliptical and stationary bike). However today I looked at the scale, it says I'm 252 lbs. I feel a difference in my arms and legs and there's a slight difference in my build when I look in the mirror but not as much as I thought there would be after 2 months. Is there something I'm doing wrong? Any tips and advice would be greatly appreciated.
