Noob question lol
I'm pretty new to this forum and this might seem like a daft question, but whenever people first start out trying to lose weight, and they say "iv lost 6lb in the first week, but it's probably just water" what does this actually mean? If you have a calorie deficit during that week and lose weight its actually just your body getting rid of excess water instead of burning fat? This doesn't sound right lol, why would your body do that when dehydration seems to be a common for heaps of people. Sorry if im just misinterpreting this lol.
