Losing "It" (Body and Mind)

Hello everyone out there!

This is not my first time on this forum. I was on here about 3 years ago and found all the support really helpful and encouraging. I signed back up on this site because I have decided that this is it, this is the year it all begins!

About me...

I am 27 years old with a little girl who is almost 2. I am still at the weight I was when I gave birth and am pretty disgusted with myself. My goal weight is 160 which means I have my work cut out for me! I am going to weigh in tomorrow and figure out exactly how much work I am going to have to do.

Wish me luck! This never ending journey of mine is about to come to an end!

Alright, today is the day I start fresh!

Starting weight: 284
Current weight: 278.6
Goal weight: 160

My workout plan is to work out on my elliptical machine and walk.
My eating plan is to do slimfast with healthy snacks and small healthy dinners!

Seems easy enough but sticking to it will be the real challenge!
 
Off to a good start today!!

I had my slimfast shake this morning.
A chocolate shake blended with ice and instant coffee.... yum!

My mini goal this week is to get on track with drinking water!

Me too, I really slack off with the water - infact, you just reminded me I need to drink some :)
 
Not so great today. I feel completely overwhelmed with trying to lose weight right now. It is hard for me to understand how so many people can do this! I know that I can too and I just need to find something that works for me. It could be that there is a lot going on in my personal life right now that is making it more difficult for me to just relax and focus on losing weight. I just really wish that being stressed out didn't automatically make me eat badly... I need to work on that. I need to exercise more and I need to feel better about myself! I know that I can do it... I just need to remind myself of that.
 
I weighed in on Monday at 279.8. I was really down about having gained that I decided to just forget everything and start completely over! I have followed my diet plan perfectly... not one slip up since Monday! I can't wait to weigh in on Monday and see what I've done. I would really like to get to 240 so I can at least be at my pre-pregnancy weight!! I know that this will be a long process for me but I plan on hanging in there until I get to my goal this time.
 
Hello

I just read your diary, don't give up, as you read other diary you will see you are not the only one struggling, when you have a bad day or week dust yourself off and get back on the wagon, it's the only way to go! I suggest that you take your mesurment as well because sometimes you won't see any change on the scale but when you take mesurments you see half an inch missing here and an inch missing there it helps keep your head in the game. You can do it!!!!
