Lose Weight

Hey guys,
I was here couple of weeks ago and now i m here again ahhaha. I have a question if someone can answer it for me. I am a male, 5'3, 142 lbs. I have started working out since 3 weeks to lose weight and get in some sort of a tone. I run for 40 minutes everyday and lose around 400 CAL in that. Then i weight lift for 3 days a week. I do Abs Crunches, Chest exercise, Biceps and triceps.

My question is that with all this what kinda meal plan should i persue. I am a student and dorm so the food in our food places r not that good. It will be great if someone can suggest a meal plan i should follow to lose weight.

Here is what I ate when in undergrad at the dining hall for 2 years.

Breakfast: I skipped the dining hall, went with total cereal mostly. Or other whole grain type cereals.

Lunch: tuna sandwhiches, they had an unlimited supply of egg whites, also tons of fruit so I would snag some and take it back to the dorm. Soups also. I tended to avoid the red meats due to their higher fat content. Also avoid the pizza usually.

Dinner: Same as above for lunch.

some other thoughts on the meal plans: try to get some veggies from whatever meals they offer. Stick to the white meats.

This is from a dining hall that was all you can eat. Not sure if your dining hall would be something like choices (taco bell, chicfila, etc)
