I am 28 year old male weight fluctuates between 62-65 kilos, I do have fat percentage of 17-18%. I want to lose body fat but gain muscle and not lose weight. I have started doing weight training 3 times a week and 2 cardio sessions. Please advice
Unless you are JUST starting to workout, its hard to do both at the same time. Try riding a bike and masturbating at the same time, neither one works out too well heh? yep...
Do a 4 month bulk cycle, and 2 months of cutting. Gain muscle first, increase metabolism, then use it to burn off the flab you had, and minor flab you gained while you bulked up.

I've read the best way to gain muscle and lose fat at the same time is through carb cycling- i.e. having two high carb days on which you train, two moderate carb days and three low carb days (or some mix of those). Anyone have any thoughts or any experience with it?

So if you gain higher muscle % you have a higher metabolism???
