loose skin vs fat?

i have lost some weight, i went from over 233 lbs (i avoided the scales so all i know is i was over that lol) now i am at 130 lbs (i am a 26 year old female 5'5" is my height.)
have some loose skin on my butt (what was once the biggest part of me lmao!) but it has improved a lot. but i still have some sagginess to my butt. i have about an inch or 2 of extra fat all around. like on my hips/butt arms and legs, and obviously my tummy. when i lie down my tummy does not look loose... what are the chances of me having a somewhat normal tummy? im scared because to be completely honest, my boobs sag a lot, because you see my boobs grew during a time that i had a huge weight gain, so as soon as i had breasts they always had a slight sag and over the course of weight gain/weight loss (many times over the years) its only gotten worse. will the same happen to my tummy? the only time my stomach doesnt stick out is when i lie down, it doesnt look bad then...

i still plan on losing 5-10 lbs more if i dont look right at 120 lbs i dont think i will go any lower, as i know the lower my weight is the harder it will be to maintain.View attachment 5144View attachment 5145View attachment 5146

How did you lose all the weight and how long did it take you?

a little over a year i would lose 5-10 lbs a month. i lost it by learning about calorie counting and learning to eat healthier, and eliminating junk food (except for an occasional ice cream from skinny cow lol!) and exercising......

i've read though that the way you lose weight whether fast or slow wont matter when it comes to loose skin
 
I have the exact same problem except mine is abit bigger then yours, the hang part. Ive been stressing out and worrying about and been trying to find people with the same problem so thank god I found this forum. I wasnt sure wether if mine was lose skin or fat, you see like you i also lost weight in a year, 86Ib to be exact. i went from 226 to 145 through hard dieting but not so much excersise and as the concequences it result in my stomach. Some people say its fat and some say its loose skin most says either way it will go with strength training and toning excersises and clean cut diet, others say it wont and only surgery will get rid of it. as you can see why i was worrying about it, i now have come to terms into believing its abit of both and i still have 22Ibs to lose as i still have 35% body fat and ive always carried my weight round my stomach rather then most women where they carry it on thier ass and thighs.Ive set myself a training programe where for 16 weeks im going to eat clean,. drink 8 glasses of water a day, excersise 6 days a week consisting of interval cardio and circuit adding weights with it and body toning and sculpting. Ive taken my before pictures and will up load them later on as soon as i get my computer fixed so i can show you. i wouldnt worry like i said mines worst then yours and i know yours will go with alot of strength work out excesises and ab work. its not loose skin.

thanks for the reply, i have read the same things that you have. im not sure anyone knows for sure since everyone is so different. i guess there is a price for everything, i couldnt expect to go from only being truly thin when i was a child, to being 26 and not seeing some effects from waiting so long to lose the weight. but im going to try and not obsess, and just wait until i reach my goal weight. and if i dont end up where i want i'll just have to accept it.

by the way, i lost my weight doing lots of cardio/weight training, and still have a stomach. some people told me that the exercise wont make much difference, while others say it does. =( i've never tried eating completely clean though, so if you see some improvements let me know, and i might look into trying that.
 
Hi... i'm new to this thread, but i've been told I have loose skin, but am really starting to believe i don't. Your stomach in those photos is almost mine to a T!!! except mine is just slightly bigger... have you had any luck in getting it down?

i can says it been about a month scince i wrote about my problem and scince then i have been exersising and some clean eating, and i have taken a before and after picture, i have notice a slight change in my stomach i have also been using coco butter firming lotion to tighten skin, i know i still got a while and i dont knopw weather it will be perfect but ill just have to be patient.

you have noticed a change!? this is good to hear. i've also been continuing to work out, eat well and using a some creams. i haven't noticed a huge change but you have given me hope.
