Looking to lose some weight before moving away

Hi guys!

My name is Barry Boatman and this summer I am planning to lose around 20 lbs. I currently weigh 101ish kilos or around 16 st, and am looking to get down to 14 and a half stone by mid August, which is when I move to Montreal for the year abroad on my degree.

I have been actively trying to lose weight since the start of the year but it has been very on and off, but I feel I must have lost at least a stone whilst doing it so that feels good. I have exercised using a rowing machine and by playing squash recently, but neither of these are particularly possible now I am staying at my Dad's house to work this summer. He does, however, have an exercise bike and cross trainer so looking forward to building up my fitness on these!

My diet generally consists of: two slices of toast for breakfast, a ham sandwich/wrap for lunch and either soup or some sort of chicken/vegetable dish for dinner. I am aware that this is a lot of bread, do you guys think this is will be a big problem for weight loss? I am considering switching to fruit and yoghurt for breakfast and maybe a ham salad wrap instead of a sandwich for lunch.

Also, does anyone have any good weight loss tips for exercising on an exercise bike? I did about 20 minutes earlier but I'm unsure of the best technique in terms of rhythm (i.e an interval workout or doing half an hour on one set level). Any advice would be much appreciated :)

Anyway guys I am looking forward to being a part of this forum, hopefully we can all help each other :)

Barry
