Looking to lose 20 llbs

Im 16 (female), 5'3 and weigh 139 llbs. I'm looking to lose at least 20 pounds this summer or maybe even 25-30.

I have been exercising every day, 45 minutes to an hour on weekends and about an hour and a half on weekdays.
I've been eating around 1300-1500 calories a day and drink a reasonable amount of milk and water (but should probably drink them more). I have cut out most carb foods and try to eat consume protein/meat every day along with fruits and veggies.

I am wondering if I stay consistent with my exercise and diet if my goal is achievable and what other tips/advice you have for reaching my goal.

not sure why you are drinking milk. There are many better sources of calcium. If you are already good with calcium than ditch the milk for water.

Add in some weight training, if you haven't already. Muscle is your furnace. The more muscle the bigger the furnace.

People are always worried about the fat content in milk but it is the carb content you have to watch out for.
List the foods and drinks you consume in a typical day, along with amount and we can go from there.

See, when you start a new diet, you don't have to cut out all the foods you love, eliminate large amount of calories or banish entire food groups.

In fact, these types of fad diets can be dangerous and are not typically successful in the long run. Instead, make healthier food substitutions, such as whole grain bread for white, and try to eat small, regular meals and snacks to keep your metabolism going throughout the day.

Choose lean, vitamin-rich foods from all the major food groups, and consider consulting a nutritionist to determine how many calories you should be eating in a day.

You need to burn off more calories than you take in to lose weight, and this can seem like a daunting task. But instead of getting caught up in how many changes you need to make, start small.

Go for a walk before dinner or replace one can of soda with water, which can eliminate 150 calories. As you get used to your new lifestyle, gradually increase the length of your walk or add a Pilates class to your week, and start swapping carrot sticks for chips and strawberries for cookies, for example.

Making minor changes and losing weight at a steady pace will help keep you from feeling overwhelmed and discouraged.

And last thing is about taking milk. See, milk is a good source of calcium. You may add milk in your diet but not as much as water. I believe you got my point.
