Greetings.
I have been reading this forum for a while. I've learned alot and want to say thanks to everyone who contributes.
When I was in high school I was in pretty good shape. I wrestled and played baseball and could run 5 miles in under 40 minutes.
When I was 17 I tore by rotator cuff playing and within a year I needed surgery to repair it completely. Getting older and much more sedimentary (I am a computer programmer) I gained a tonof weight.
March 21st of this year I decided it was time for a change. I was 381 lbs. I joined a gym and started the treadmill. Started at 30 minutes a day 7 days a week and was quickly up to 45 minutes at a 13.0 incline setting. According to the treadmill I was burning 1200-1300 calories per session.
Four months later I am 329 lbs and have started weightlifting as a supplement. Currently I am doing 45 minutes of cardio in the morning and lift about every other evening. I have seen some good gains in the past 4-5 weeks in muscle tone and strength but am sure that as I get more serious about it I should get a good routine down.
I ran across a good website that listed probably hundreds of exercises and how to do them properly. Some even included videos of how to do them. It was a pretty no frills site but easy to navigate. I can not for the life of me find this site!
Does anyone know of a good site that shows how to properly do exercises.
This site I remember let you pick exercises by the muscle group you wanted to work on.
