Everyone has to start somewhere well today is my start. After having my baby I lost a lot of weight but have put some of it right back on.

I want to loose this weight and free myself of the hatred I feel when I walk past a mirror.

Please support me guys. I will update on what I eat often as well as my exercise. Its difficult to find the time as a working mother and wife but I will find 1 hour of the day for myself to exercise.

Age: 25
Current weight: 140 lbs
1st Goal Weight: 128 lbs
Final Goal Weight: 114 lbs

Today I plan to eat:

Breakfast:
1 slice toast with margarine
coffee

Snack:
Low Fat Yoghurt

Lunch:
Sausage (no roll)

Snack:
Popcorn

Supper:
Soya sausage in tomato chutney

Will do 30 minutes of Yogalates tonight.

Please tell me if this sounds ok or if its too much. I have no idea what Im doing. I have been a fad diet user almost all my life and now I want a lifestyle change.
 
Hey sounds like your doing fine, and I like that you've set a smaller goal first. You could even make that smaller and then set another one when you get there - might keep you more motivated.
Also your diet sounds fine. However for lunch maybe something more nutritious? Like try to include some fruit and veg too and some lean meat. Other than that sounds like your on the right track.

i can see it now...thx kirsty. I will try and ad a salad for lunch. do you think i will loose weight though? or is it more about a healthy lifestyle cause i dont like the way i look now.
 
I think you will loose weight. Might help if you find out how many calories your eating so you have a better idea. I use to keep track how many I'm taking in. As long as your eating healthily, less calories and exercising you will loose weight :)
 
Oh Kirsty may I just say your replies motivate me more knowing someone there knows about it so thank you a lot.

I ended up having for lunch:

Sausage
Sweetcorn
Chicken salad on a slice of rye bread

I think I should do some cardio today and not the yogalates cause I dont even know how many calories that burns.

Yesterday didnt go so bad I think. For supper I had a egg & feta sandwich, hope that is ok. I did 30 minutes of Stotes palates. It wasnt too bad but some poses were difficult.

Today I will eat:

Breakfast:
1 Slice toast with 70 calories light mayo
coffee

Snack:
Roasted Corn : 220 Cal

Lunch:
Tuna Sandwich : 300 cal

Snack:
Apple
Coffee

Supper:
Soya sausage in tomato chutney

I will do 30 minutes of Fame dance dvd.

I really hope this isnt a waste of my time but im already walking with my head held a little higher. I have to look better this summer...its winter now in South-Africa.

Sounds like your doing really well - good food choices and nothing is a waste of time - every little thing you do is a step towards you goal!
 
hey guys sorrry for the few updates but i have lost 3lbs so im happy with that. wish me luck further.

the one thing i know works is drinking hot water...
 
hehe thx kirsty..ye any loss is a good i guess... im happy...hope to loose the same this week then im ok... im doing the 'fame' workout dvd and im loving it. i eat more then i have ever cause i use to restrict like crazy ... this can work people i just need to hang in there...

im glad its coming off slowly so i can keep it off.
