Okay, this is my third serious shot at losing weight, and I weigh more than ever, now that I've got a desk job and a long distance relationship.
Sebastian went home yesterday, and when I dropped him off at the airport, he said he wants me to get in better shape. I couldn't agree more. He deserves a girl who looks as good as he does. Not only that, I owe it to myself to look good.
But I'm going to let him be my biggest inspiration this time around. I have a time frame of about four to six months until our next trip. Between then and now, I want to lose forty pounds and tone up my stomach. I want to watch his eyes pop out of his head next time around, because 150 was always where I felt my best. That was where my curves were just right.
So. First things first. Exercise. I'll want to get myself a gym membership and a gym buddy. I think I'm going to take my mom.
Second, diet. The bane of my existence. If there's one thing that's always been a struggle for me, it's been eating regularly. I typically eat once or twice a day... I'll be working on changing that. My mom has a copy of Michi's Ladder taped to her fridge, so I think I'll probably be using that as a guideline of what I can and cannot eat.
Other things, smaller things that might get in my way that I still need to take care of:
A good pair of running shoes.
A scale. Ugh.
Grocery shopping and meal planning.
Here I go.
