So hey, I'm Kitty, and I'm pretty overweight and chubby right now. So school starts properly on the 2nd September , I have a party to go to on the 6th September, and I want to be in shape. Oh, and I have my GCSE results in just 20 days and that's pretty terrifying so just in case I get awful results, at least I can have fitness to fall back on! As long as I do this right... I guess I should've done this earlier in the year to look good for summer, but hey. I can always look good next summer if I work hard now!

Okay, so I am an overweight 16 year old with no money or resources and a quite impressive food addiction so I wonder how this is going to turn out! So this is basically me trying to loose weight with whatever I can find around the house!

Day 1- 1st August.

So, today I have already done:

15 sit ups
5 leg raises
10 crunches
2x 12 second plank

and i just found a step thing in the garage so I'm gonna put that in my room, make some dumbells out of water and stones and use those for a while! I also may consider going for a jog later on...

Okay, so I've done more exercise today since my last post. I'm currently watching Orange is the new Black and constantly using the step to walk on while watching, so i probably did that for about one hour. Also I have a medicine ball that I did some lifting with but it's heavy so I didn't do much. I just went out for a jog for about ten minutes, so not much yet, but at least I've started!
 
Welcome to the forum! Making good use of TV time is a perfect way to sneak in exercise without sacrificing anything. You're off to a great start!

Day 3- I totally forgot to write here yesterday. Oops! Anyway, so yesterday and today I am continuing with the -30 day ab challenge- but also my own exercise on top of that. And reducing calories of course! (but not that many because I love food)

Yesterday was: 20 Sit ups
8 Crunches
8 leg raises
12 second plank (but i actually did it for 17 seconds because I wanted to know how long i could hold it. Apparently it's 17 seconds)
I still did some step ups while watching Orange is the new black (although I've almost finished series 2 now) and I went for a slightly longer jog than I did the day before

So today, I went to a boot fair and walked all around that (while buying many clothes) I think I'm a solid twelve again!! Which is pretty fabulous. I ache everywhere and I'm concerned I've got shin splints but I shall continue with the daily routine.

-especially today as I accidentally ate a mcdonalds breakfast after the boot fair-

Thank you! Okay I am rubbish at updating everyday. So let's fill in for yesterday and today!

Yesterday

25 sit ups
10 crunches
10 leg raises
15 second plank (Again for 17 seconds)

And I went out for a jog, and i ran up a hill as well during the jog, which was nice :)

today. So today was my "rest day" according to the plan I'm going on, however I still wanted to do some stuff. So, I did a few sit ups and planks, but mainly today I was working on my flexibility. I was able to do a 'crab' or the 'bridge' pose for the first time in 4 years by pushing up from laying on the ground, but i wanted to be able to stand up and bend backwards and get into that pose, so I've been trying bending backwards using the stairs for support and doing a whole other range of back stretches. I also did a kind-of-pressup where I didn't go down by that muuch... but I was able to come back up!! :D

Today my sister made me eat this horrible jellybean. It was rotten-egg flavour and I still feel queasy! I shall still be exercising but I'm rather put off my food at the moment :S And I forgot to go on a jog today! D:
