Hit the quote button at the bottom of the post you want to quote. That'll bring the text into a quote box. If you want to quote more than one post, you use the middle button - the "+ button.
Oh, and Kelly, you don't have to go hungry to do this. You'll be surprised how much you're actually eating when you choose the right things. Have you checked out Fitday or SparkPeople? I haven't seen Fitday, but I use SparkPeople and it really does help. When you put in something that you thought was healthy and find out that it has way more fat than you had any idea it had, you know to cut back how much you have or how often.
It's do-able. I'd just hate to see you give up when you've gotten this far.
