Just starting..on here anyways

Well I've been checking this site out every day at work for motivation (lord knows it's the only way I can gather the motivation to go to the gym at 4:15 when what I really want to do is go home and sit on my rump!) and I decided to join after seeing everyone's success stories. Currently I am TIPPING the scales at about 169. At a height of 5'6 that's not good. AND I mostly gain it right on my tummy. and I mean just about ONLY my tummy. Sooo I got a membership at the local YMCA and have been restricting calories to about 1,000/1,500 depending. I try to eat tons of veggies and fruit so as not to feel hungry. I only drink water - and LOTS of it. I go to the gym every week day, and weigh myself every day so i can see the normal ups and downs. I started about 2 weeks ago at 176- so I guess it's working!! I was put on prednisone for my bells palsy (gone luckily) which made me balloon from 159/160ish to 176!!! so I'm trying to get back down and then some before the summer hits. Motivation please! I'll post some befores too.
 
^^; cute face pics or eye close ups are nice and all.. but erm, those won't act as very effcient before pictures. What you need is a full body, side and front so that when you do progress, you can see the difference! It's meant to work as a motivational tool so seeing the difference is vital.

Good Luck with your working out and weightloss plans! Its tough at first to get things rolling... but once you get going its easy to stay active. It looks like you've lost a good bit quickly. Dont get frustrated when you plateau here soon... because its almost def. going to happen.... but you will get moving again after a bit!
