Yesterday we have desided to start loosing weight by competing with one another. Join our race with your suggestions:auto:

It's all about controlling your value system. Yea, you love to cook. But that doesn't mean you have to over-eat the food your prepare. But consciously you'll never transition away from over-eating unless you fill that void with another value... that value being the positive emotions you can associate to the Whys. The whys of why you want to get healthy and lose weight.

I'd start by making a list of the pleasures you'll have by reaching your goals. On the other side of the paper, make a list of the pains you'll have by NOT reaching your goals.

Read, walk, exercise, repeat.

What is your plan to lose weight?
have you picked a calorie range to shoot for and how are you planning on keeping track of those calories?

What about exercise?

I'd suggest spendng some time reading the stickied threads in nutrition, on topic and exercise you'll get a lot of good info to get you started

So far I have redused my food intake, eating 1/3 less as usual.
No Sugar nas just 1 piece if wheet bread (tosted)

results...........will check tommorow
Problem ---------HUNGRY!!!

I wouldn't look for results in that period of time. You got the way you are over years. Expecting results, regardless of how you ate today, is silly.

Track longer term trends and pay no attention to the acute fluctuations. From what I've seen, they do nothing but frustrate most.

You have good people on your side, Biz. Getting a grip on portion-size, and making healthy food choices can take years of practice, AND slip away from you temporarily. The important thing is to start viewing food as absolute NOURISHMENT and the building blocks for a healthy body, mind, and dare I say, soul. And I'm not talking about Soul Food!!! ;) Although I highly recommend eating collard greens every day :D Just don't cook the hell out of them :D
