Hi all,
Like I said, just another new guy here on the forums. I'm on 2 weeks into my New Year resolution and looking for a active community for support like this seems to be.
I'm 38 and a father of 2 young boys. My family (wife and boys) are my biggest motivation to finally lose the 30 pounds I've been carrying around for quite a few years now. I'm 5'11" and started the year off at 208 pounds.
I've stopped drinking soda (used to drink a liter or two a day), gave up junk food (could eat a box of Little Debbies in one sitting, and did so quite a few days a week sometimes), and started eating more healthy, 6 times a day. Basic common sense approach I guess.
I'm participating in the Men's Health Belly Off! 2008 challenge which has been very motivating.
I look forward to meeting great folks here, getting even more motivated and helping motivate others.
Regards,
Steve

What actually surprises me, is that you only are a little overweight with such bad eating habits. You must have great metabolism! Best to you on changing your habits!!!
