I am back and determined that this is not going to overtake me again. I started this journey last january and lost thirty pounds. Now I am back in 2006 and have gained it all back. What is wrong with me? I need to get focused and it all starts here.My first goal is to loose 18 pounds by Feb 28th. That is my birthday. That would bring me to 191. I am going to set mini goals that I need to achieve. My long term goal is to be at 140.

Today I started at the gym . 15 minutes on the E and 30 minutes on the tredmill. I ran the last 2 minutes . I would like to increase this little by little as I work out.
Lunch
* salad w/light dressing, croutons, clermont salad
* brocolli and cheese soup , 4 crackers
Dinner
* bagel w/cream cheese
* yogurt
* 1/2 cup potato salad
* cheese stick
* apple
Snack 10:00 cheese stick

I felt pretty good today. I didn't really have any cravings and I wasn't starving . I felt full with each meal.

Yesterday was another good day. I stayed up late and that is when I do have a lot of cravings. It seems like when I come home at night and watch tv I start craving things. But last night I wasn't going to give in to the temptations.

That late night cravings hit me . I do good all day till about 4 then it hits me , I guess thats when I start supper and am in the kitchen so I try to keep apples and stuff like that around to keep from getting what I really want . You sound like you are doing good so far keep up the good work .
 
Thanks for the support! I actually went to the store today and bought some fruit. I will use that suggestion next time I start craving. I was surprised today at the gym I ran on the tredmill for 3 minutes. First of all I am not a runner. I do the elyptical for 15 min and then walk for 30 on the tredmill. I am trying to build myself up to run slowly. I thought if everytime I work out I increase my running by one minute then it won't be so tuff. I'm actually enjoying it.

Tomorrow I have to run for 4 minutes so I am anxious to see if I can. I mean I know I can do it. Again lot's of cravings at night. I have good stuff to munch on but I just don't want to eat anything. Tomorrow I am going out for lunch with my best friend and I am hoping to stick to my diet.

What a great day today. I worked out and I did run my four minutes. Yea !!!!! It really made me feel good. I peaked on the scale today and I have already lost 2 lbs but my weigh in isn't until thursday. I have really been sticking to my diet and I am proud of myself.

Busy day today. I am trying to find an outfit for this meeting I have to go to in boston on friday. Let's just say it's quite depressing shopping when your big. I went to like 7 different stores and was like blah. Nothing really striked my eye. I hope to find something by friday.

Ugh, I hate having to shop for clothes, too. I'm around the same weight-range as you, and it seems like all the clothes in the "normal" stores are just a wee bit too small, but the ones in the "big folk" stores seem so big! I find generic department stores, like Zellers have a good range of sizes, not just 0-14 (honestly, who the heck wears a 0??)
 
Hey..sorry about the struggle shopping for clothes!! I think we all suffer from some form of that. But keep sticking to your goals and you'll be a shopaholic in no time with your weight-loss! ;)

As for who wears a size zero... I hate to say this but my little sister!! (she's adopted so.. I won't hate her too much!) but it is pretty sickening!
 
That's so true about the sizes one is too big and one is too small. It is so annoying. Well today is the big 5 min run on the tredmill . I know I can do it. I just got home and I did it. 5 minutes running on the tredmill. I am so proud of myself!!!

Good luck on your run! I'm hitting the tr eadmill tonight at the gym myself! So le tme know how your running goes!
 
WELL IT'S BEEN ABOUT A WEEK SINCE I HAVE POSTED. I got off track a little. Busy at work. I can't let that stop me though. I lost two pounds last week and I weigh in tomorrow again. HOpe it goes well.
