Buy the truck! Sounds like you really like it so why not go for it?
B/C I really like my car too. I'm afraid that once I got rid of it I'd be like, "Damn, why did I get rid of that car!?"
Getting a new vehicle is always appealing but I'm hoping it's not shadowing over how much I still like my car.
But as I said above, I don't like the monthly payment on my car given the fact that I live so close to work. It's a 2005 and has 13000 miles.
Can you trade your current car in? Or would you sell it?
I would ideally trade it in, but that depends on what they're willing to give me for it.
What do you drive by the way right now?
350z... there's a picture of it in .
I also drive a Jeep Wrangler, which part of me says, "Why do I need another 4 wheel drive vehicle. But jeeps are shit for space. Both of my current vehicles are like toys, haha.
I think our cars kind of show a little of our personality
Hmm, if that's the case I'd hate to hear what my vehicles say about me.
It seems like I'm trying to make up for other areas I might be lacking in. A yellow sports car and a jeep oversized tires on it.
The jeep I had in college. I always wanted one and bought one as soon as I could afford it. I wanted big tires and all this other off-roading stuff b/c I liked the idea that I could drive anywhere. And I did drive anywhere, lol. I beat that thing.
My car is a product of my desire to drive fast. I like speed and performance. My intention wasn't to go out and buy a yellow sports car. I wasn't even in the market for a car... I had an 11 month old acura tl at the time. I just saw it sitting there and said, "I want to drive that thing." I ended up buying it.
...I drive a 2007 convertible beetle. I love it...makes my long ass commutes that much more enjoyable.
I could see you driving that.
I always see 'hot chicks' driving beetles.
That is exciting your personal training biz is taking off. I hear ya on hesitating to work for the gym...it's a much different story when you are being pushed to sell training sessions and gym memberships. I see you being more of the type of working for yourself and really listening to your clients needs versus satisfying a quota...
Nail on the head.
I would never sell myself....
I mean if I had to, I suppose. But I haven't had to sell myself since I was a trainer in college. The good thing about this opportunity is the manager really likes me and It's pretty much whatever I want to make of it. I can either work for the gym or sub-contract in a way. I haven't decided.
So did you knock the other adviser out or what? How heated did it get? Was spit flying from the yelling? LOL Work drama..always makes things a little spicy.
It took all I had to hold back, I'll say that much. He was being completely illogical and belligerent. I wish I had a recording of some of the things he said. He apologized since so it's all good. I told him that "I've had completely drunken arguments in college with guys who probably could be labeled as mentally challenged and those conversations never degraded to the level you took this one."
