Journey from 145 to 130

Hey there, I just stumbled upon your little journal thing for the first time this morning.
It looks like we have similar goals as well! I'm currently trying to go from about 140 to 120-130.
Just wanted to wish you luck! It sounds like you're on a good path. :)

Last night I did a workout video for 1/2 hour that was

Exhale: Core Fusion - Thighs & Glutes (2009)

Today I skipped breakfast because I was avoiding someone! So lame, but I'll have to just work on that for tomorrow.

Lunch: Sandwich : Avocado, tomato and lettuce.
Iced tea x 2
Coffee x 2

I know, I know I shouldnt drink my calories but I had to squeeze lunch in today so I 'll just have a big healthy dinner later and a few low cal snacks.

Hope to do better tomorrow.

Tonight: Yoga or maybe Nothing. Haven't decided yet.

Went running 2 days ago and my shoulders still hurt near the shoulder blades. A friend told me that means I was holding my arms too high up and should have tried to loosen up and relax more. Guess I shouldn't take my Nano next time. Don't think I'll run much anytime soon. My left knee also took a beating somehow which makes me feel about 50 years old, ha. Anyhow. Talk to y'all soon.

Binge a palooza

For a while I felt the need to eat everything I craved and I had constant cravings. I dont know what was going on with me. Anyhow, have gained a bit of weight, and even got up to 155 at one point, but that was because I started to drink soda that same weekend, and after I realized I drank 8 cans of diet coke in two days I gave the rest of my stash away to a friend. the weight started dropping back after right away after that. back at 146 though now.

Back on the "road" to losing the last thirty pounds, have just decided to eat balanced, small meals and a few small snacks a day. ANd I've realkzed I do best with ONLY water a day, no juice, milk or iced tea.

I dont know if it is because of the directness of the water getting into my system acting to cleanse it or if Im just leaving off calories in other drinks but it usually helps a lot.

Need to go back to YOGA even though its so hard to start again once youve stopped and do some stretching and leight weight excercise. I have the new issue of Womens Health (Michell e Monaghan cover) .
