I really need to start keeping track of my daily food intake & exercises. My workouts have been fine lately, but I've had fast food the past four days! The main thing I'm worried about is not eating the right things, only because I don't like many foods (not much healthy food, I should say). I'm also a vegetarian. I plan on going to the store tomorrow or Monday to search for some "good" food I might like.

It's about 2AM now, so I'll begin today! Hopefully this will keep me on track more. :)

What is your current height and weight?
5'0" , 148

If you were at an ideal weight now, what would that weight be?
95. According to the BMI calculator it's a healthy weight for me.

At what weight would you like to be at four months from now?
Between 90-100, no less or more than that.

Why do you want to lose weight?
To be in shape again, and wear some of my old clothes that I've kept.

What obstacles could get between you and your weight loss goals?
FOOD (obviously). Motivation/consistency.

Why do you think that you now have a weight problem?
Lack of focus.

What lifestyle changes do you think would help you lose weight?
Good food choices. That's my problem.

Have you lost weight in the past? If so, what has worked in the past to help you lose weight?
I lost 15 pounds earlier this year; I planned my meals.

Why do you believe that you did not lose weight or you gained the weight back?
I started eating whatever I wanted again.

Would you try writing down all food and drink consumed for a given period of time?
Yes.

Do you cook at home often? If so, what do you cook?
I mostly eat microwave meals. I don't cook. Haha.

How often do you go out to eat? Where do you go?
Lately I've been going out to eat four days a week...mainly McDonalds and Pizza Hut. But usually only once a week.

What are your three favorite foods?
Pizza, spaghetti, french fries.

What are your three favorite restaurants?
Fazoli's, Bob Evans, McDonalds.

What are three things you can do differently when it comes to food?
Smaller portions, and not eating fast food would really help.

If you woke up tomorrow and your body was exactly the way you want it, what would be different?
Skinnier legs.

Do you eat when you are not hungry?
Yes.

Do you binge eat (large amounts at a time)?
Yes.

Do you hide your food or eat in secret?
No.

Do you eat when you are sad, nervous, or depressed?
No.

Do you eat as a reward?
Yes, a lot.

Do you eat while watching TV or using the computer?
Very much.

What do you normally eat for a meal?
A lot of different things. Vegetables and veggie burgers on my good days, haha.

What type of snacks do you eat?
Chips and peanut butter, they are my weaknesses.

In terms of exercise, what, if anything, are you currently doing?
Walking on my treadmill, usually daily, for 30 minutes or so. As well as an ab workout a few days a week.

Where do you go for exercise? A local public gym? School/work gym? Home?
Home.

What, if anything, are your three favorite types of exercise?
Walking/jogging.

What is your daily/weekly/monthly/yearly motivation to move towards your goals?
Too many reasons to list.

Do you have rewards for certain goals?
Nope.
 
Hi Jen!

Good luck on your journey! This is a great place to find support for your weight loss. My fiance doesn't enjoy many healthy foods either - which means I have to be more creative! Fresh fruit is great for a snack.

Just stick with it, you'll be so happy!
