Hi!

This is my first diary entry, and I thought I'd let you in on how I got my user name! Well, it's just about the only thing that my 3 year old niece will eat... jellybread! It's just a jelly sandwich basically. She also likes cereal. That's about it. She's really picky like her daddy unfortunately. So anyway, she's always asking for "Jellybread", and I wanted a new nickname and so there it was!

Anyway what I had yesterday was:

Breakfast:
Cereal and 1 cup 2 % milk

Lunch:
Jellybread (haha) with some peanut butter added in there somewhere:)

Dinner:
Lean Cuisine that was 300 something calories while watching a cute movie... I know I should have had something with it, but I have terrible guilt...

Snacks: Oh let's see, I think a banana with peanut butter on it. Lots of water. Oh yeah. I had coffee in the morning with creamer in it.
-------

That's it for the day! Today I've just had coffee with creamer and my usual breakfast of cereal and milk. It was the end of the cereal, so I might have had more cereal than usual just to finish off the box:( Gotta start measuring things out for real.

Jellybread!

Well, kinda sad that no one replied, but oh well...

here's today's stuff:

Breakfast:
Cereal with 1 cup 2%milk

Lunch:
Cereal again with 1 cup 2% milk

Dinner:

It's probably going to be a Lean Cuisine about 300-400 cals, not sure on the fat.

Snacks: coffee and water.

I got *some* exercise in today by cleaning the house and playing with my nieces all day!

WEll.. been off

My computer's been funky so... I was just wondering... does anyone here use the Nintendo Wii for their exercise? I mean like the Wii Fit and active games such as that? Because I have it. I don't use it enough because my mom is *constantly* using the television. It's quite a pain. But I wanted to know if anyone else is losing weight using the Nintendo Wii?

There are a few members using the Wii, I use it to fill in some exercise time when it is not a gym day.

Hi everyone,

I haven't written in awhile, but just wanted to let you know... I've amped up my "Wii Experience" with Wii Sports! My favorite sport on there is bowling, but I know it doesn't burn a whole heck of a lot of calories, so I turn off the sound on the tv, and turn on my ipod! Then I can dance and sing along with bowling and doing the Wii sports age thing! DEFINITELY gets my heart pumping when I'm dancing and singing along to the ipod while doing my sports!

Hey Jellybread!

Grab a partner and try Wii boxing for a half hour. That'll get the blood flowing, not to mention relieve some stress in the process. :biggrinjester:

Hmm

It seems like getting people to play with me is like pulling teeth! I've never tried the boxing before... I'm afraid of it! Maybe tomorrow I shall try it!

Been Dancing!

So since I can't get anyone around me to play with the Wii, I play Wii Sports every morning, turn off the volume and DANCE while I bowl or do other activities! I play my ipod and really crank it up with my favorite tunes! :coolgleamA: I may not be a great dancer, but I figure the overall movement counts as at least low impact aerobics! I get everything moving, including my heart (well, I don't have a heart rate monitor, but it feels like it's really pumping!) and I dance/bowl/random sports for at least half an hour each morning. 7 days a week. Sound good? I also want to incorporate the Wii fit and do some walking and running.

Ran out of batteries

Recharging the rechargables. The batteries ran out in my remote for my Wii, but have been doing a good amount of walking. Yesterday I walked for about an hour (it was about 25 degrees outside too! yay!), and the day before I was forced to walk for hmm I would say 1.5 - 2 miles because my car got a flat tire, and none of the three gas stations I stopped at could help me. I finally got to a brakes/muffler place and they gave me the number for a tow truck place that could fix my flat. I had walked for over an hour in the pelting snow. I was freezing and soaked. The guys in the brakes/muffler place looked at me weird and laughed a little. I was so embarrassed. I guess now's a good time to learn how to change a tire. Hey! My mom (whom I called) doesn't know how either!

but anyway, I got some exercise! Gonna go see if those batteries are ready!

Hey Jellybread,

LOL, I think you've mastered perspective. Way to turn your misfortune with the flat tire into an exercise opportunity! That made me laugh, thanks.

I still love your Wii Workouts. Have you ever tried the game Dance Dance Revolution? That'll get you moving too. Not sure if they have a version on the Wii yet though.
