Jacklinger's Food Journal

guys, we've been down this road with Jack many times. The best thing is to put on a smile and say 'congrats on your weight loss' and not look at his actual diet as something that will work for you. I don't know either how he did it and hasn't gone into the hospital for insulin shock but we only know what he posts here. Take it with a grain of salt and move on., pointing out his ****ty diet only encourages him.

Wouldn't you want to encourage me to keep losing weight though? ^_^
I think I know what you mean though. You're worried I'm going to make myself sick. That's very kind of you. But be assured that my doctor is well aware of my diet and draws blood and takes vitals from me every three months to monitor my glucose, blood pressure, cholesterol, lipids, vitamin levels, etc. And so far, it's all nominal. So don't worry about me too much. :)

...and in my opinion, Jack is what the majority of people that are trying
to lose weight really want...lol...and the primary reason they can't lose
the excess weight that they currently have, I mean let's be real folks,
one out of a thousand people that have a massive amount of unwanted
body fat ever lose it permanently.

This is exactly what Thoreau meant when he wrote the words below...

There is no answer, there is only a question...

...What is the root of evil?

...When you answer this, everything will allign and you will wonder why the hell
you were so blind the whole time.

We all know the answer, but we don't want to answer it, instead we hide
our head in the sand, and are ready to kill anyone that mentions the truth!

...I will not give you the answer, but I will say it has something to do with
the fact that as human beings, none of us are going to live forever, and when
you realize this "one and only truth" your blinders might be blown off and you
just might see the only truth there is!...but most likely you will not see it,
and will simply think that this is the stupidest sh*t you ever read and go
get yourself a bag of chips with a cola and go watch the latest episode of Lost.

10/4/10

Posting this a day late but here's what I ate yesterday:

3 Fiber One bars - those things really grow on you.
1 grilled cheese sandwich - the usual, 2 slices of white bread, 4 slices of cheese (2 mozzarella and 2 cheddar)
And my usual ton of coffee.

Hmm, that seems to be less than my usual intake. It might have something to do with the fact I had a large pizza the day before so I wasn't feeling as hungry as I usually do.

10/5/10

Today:

2 grilled cheese sandwiches - starting to like these alot
1 FiberOne bar
2 bottles of Muscle Milk (the 220 cal size)
1 cookie (not the massive convenience store size that's like 1000 cal, the regular size thats about 200 cal :p )

Lots of coffee!

And my usual hour of walking.

That is all.

10/6/10

2 hostess apple pies
1 pint of whole milk
2 FiberOne bars
1 can of Chef-boyar-dee stuff (ravioli I think)
2 slices of mozzarella cheese
2 slices of bread

... KOFFAY!!

That's quite a bit more than I usually eat. Better make sure to spend more time than usual in the gym this evening. But my elliptical machine broke a couple days ago and I'm bummed out about that! I have to go to an actual gym instead of working out in my own home and it's really boring :p

10/16/10

OK let's see-

1 Totino's frozen pizza for breakfast. I didn't actually eat it frozen, I microwaved it. I was too hungry to bake it.
4 glazed donuts.
1 large coffee with a bit of sugar and lots of cream
3 McDonald's hamburgers with easy mayo
1 small McDonald's french fries
2 McDonald's apple pies - I've really been falling in love with apple pie recently, and McDonald's did not disappoint.
Another coffee with just some milk
Total calories - about a million

Exercise - walked 5+ miles and lifted weights, will probably exercise more before bedtime because i seem to be full of energy (not surprising after all that food)

10/27/10

I keep forgetting to do this thing :p

Today I had:

1 hostess applie pie
1 pint of milk
2 bananas
1 can of Chef-Boyardee
1 breaded chicken fillet
2 hotdog buns (wheat)
lots of coffee as usual

very tasty ^_^

Keep going dude--This diary is crazy awesome. And I mean crazy and awesome in equal measures. Maybe slightly more crazy. Wish I could eat like that!

Hey thanks!

OK so today I had
2 bagels
3 bites of ravioli
1 FiberOne bar
5 chicken tenders
and WAAAAAY too much strawberry licorice

worked out for 3 hours

oh yeah lots of coffee

Total calories = no freakin idea. The licorice throws me off. I'll just say somewhere between 1500 and 2000

11/18/10

Ate a pkg of Hormel ready to eat spaghetti and a box of Mrs. Fields cookies.
Also lots of coffee
Also about 3 FiberOne bars and a big rice krispy square

Losing weight still but it's very very slow going. I'm tempted to start eating uber-healthy but really want to prove you can eat whatever you want and still lose weight as long as you control the quantity.

-oh yeah, should also add that I'm exercising moderately for about 2-3 hours a day depending on how much I eat. Did I say moderately? .... Maybe light exercise e.g. walking and pedaling at and andante pace on a stationary bike.
