Is this normal?

I've been doing bodyweight training at home for the past 3-4 months now and just recently joined a gym and have already noticed a difference from it. I noticed this about a week ago and wasn't sure if it's just because my muscles are still developing or what? I'm not even sure off hand what the name of this muscle is, but I'm sure some of you will help me on that :) It just seems weird that a muscle would develop like this... It's more noticeable in person too.

I realize everyone's physique is different, so maybe it's just me? Again I just wasn't sure if this looked right and wanted some opinions... I'm still a newb... lol

Never seen anything like it. Sortof looks like a muscle without skin.

OMF... you better go see a doctor FAST, because you are all CUT UP.

Gratz man, that is beginning stage of a good lean shoulder muscle. When I hold my arms behind my back, my shoulder shreds up like that and more man.

to answer the question, yes it's normal but I am not a medical professional just a workout fan.

Haha good to know I don't need to see the doctor. I felt sort of dumb asking if it's normal, but wanted to be safe  Just never seen anything like it before. The more I flex it, the more noticeable it is. Now I'm just feeling proud of myself :D

I'm off to the gym here in a bit, to make my shoulders shred up even more :D
