Is going to failure a bad thing now??

If you use the 3-5 sets of 10 method, the last rep is suppose to be challenging. Always have a spotter. I'm getting to old for the Heavy stuff, thats why I bought a Total Gym...I'm more into Cardio now. It's a heck of a lot harder to burn calories now, than it was in my 20's. If I do want to bulk up, I think I would buy a BowFlex. I still like using 60 pound Dumbells for chest exercise. My max these days will probably be about 80 pound Dumbells, no need for me to go any heavier. Keep fit "God Bless"
